An old Bridleway in Crosby, Maryport.

I was on my way to Crosscanonby this morning and decided to take the short cut to the main road. This main shot shows the old bridleway. In the 50s this was the access to fields that is now our housing estate. The field use to be owned by Midtown farm in Crosby. The gable end on the right of the shot use to be a barn and was converted into a dwelling.

The extra is from the top of Crosscanonby road and is similar to one I took on the 26th February when the trees had not any foliage.
