Land Sea & Air

Our ferry from Corfu port was due to leave at 3pm and arriving in Corfu Town we had 90 minutes to kill before returning the hire car. We decided to spend it on the walkway across the lake and enjoy watching the planes come in and take off low overhead. The were quite a few divers fishing with harpoon and my blipfoto has caught one directly under the flight path of a plane coming into land.

A honeymoon couple we spoke to said it was the highlight of their holiday - not so much speaking to us - but being so close under the planes. I'm not sure this would happen at many airports - I know at Cardiff they don't even like you stopping to take a photograph!

We got the 3pm hydrofoil to Paxos which was supposed to be about an hour but the engine malfunctioned and the journey took 2.5 hrs :(

Our accommodation in Gaios, Paxos is superb, a proper swimming pool for Mrs BB to do her 'lengths' and good wi-fi. We've had a swim and off out shortly for evening meal.
