Day Out
Everything watered first thing this morning and then out on the bike for the day.In the picture is the approach into Slaidburn where I had hoped to have lunch but the steam rally was on and the place was packed.Lunch in the Puddle Duck in Dunsop Bridge and onwards through the Trough of Bowland which is the second picture from the viewpoint looking out towards Heysham.Rode on to Hest Bank and into Morecambe. The third picture is Morecambe Bay from Hest Bank.Nearly 200 miles.
A few nutters out on the road but they are so easy to spot because they are all in Audis. All driven by ar_e holes. There are only a few exceptions to this universal rule of nature.
To non motorcyclists it is impossible to describe to them what it feels like to ride and they only see the negatives. But I read this "I ride to add life to my days not days to my life" which seems to sum it up.We all still have to be careful out there and assume every motorist is blind.
Motorists ask yourselves when you last came to a junction and checked to see if a motorcycle was coming.
A warm and sunny day.
