Horse Among Olives

Went on a walk this morning instead of church, walking by the Lake, took quite a few photos, but all a bit depressing, the Lake is going down so fast, mostly to irrigation of monocultures belonging to rich, absentee land owners, and who knows when we'll get more rain, probably not for months, at least...

And then, Mike gets my camera and shows me this horse in next door's field, so east, west, home's best, I guess...

Gratefuls:
- the surprise gift of some live music in Morango Bar last night, beginning with "As Time Goes By", then Elvis, various Latin American songs, and some Portuguese. Two older blokes, the best part was seeing how much they were enjoying themselves, and what a great voice the one guy had
- being able to walk, it hurt, but was bearable
- rainbows dancing round the room from Jan's crystals
