Stourhead

We said goodbye to our family today and headed off to the nearby village of Selborne where we visited the Gilbert White museum and gardens. A lovely place to visit with the gardens full old flowers and planted out in a similar style to his original one. He was a very interesting naturalist with his book dated from 1789 still in print today.

Then we headed to Stourhead gardens where we are staying overnight in the Spread Eagle Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary. So must go now.
