Wolvesey Palace

My friend (and fellow blipper R4T) and I met up with blipper JMK and her son in Winchester this afternoon.  They are visiting from New Zealand.
After an interesting look at Winchester Mill we walked along by the clear waters of the Itchen river and had a wander around the ruins of Wolvesey palace, dating back to 1129, I think.
It was splendid to meet a blipper who I have corresponded with for many years and we all enjoyed a delicious ice cream together in the sunshine!
