Eton Early in the Morning before the Crowds

Both of us had trouble sleeping after 4:30am as it was daylight. In NZ it doesn't get light until after 8am. We had breakfast at 6:30am then headed to Eton. It was so good to be there early as there was no one around. Then walked over the bridge to Windsor. The crowds were just starting to arrive. 

We arrived in Winchester at 12 to book into our airbnb. The Airbnb gave us passes to Winchester Cathedral. Really interesting to see. Later in the afternoon we meet up the blipper Paola and her friend, another blipper, R4T. We had a wonderful time visiting the Winchester Mill followed by a walk along the Itchen River to the runes of the Wolvesey Palace. Lovely time with good company.


We were lucky with the weather as there were showers for most of yesterday and were predicted for today also. The rest of the week isn't looking so good.
