the paths of my childhood....
With the husband at work today, I decided to take myself off for an hour or so, with the doggies and my camera.
So, I took them to a place I often walked in my childhood with my grandma.
It used to be me, grandma and two beautiful irish red setters.
Today it was me and 2 labradors. I like this "mirror image".
It's good to carry on these little traditions - to do things that take you back and remind you of family - I hope to do these things with my children, grandchildren etc in the future.
Today I was totally relaxed; just me, the dogs and the camera; not having a clue what time of day it was - it didn't matter.
It's hard to find these moments in such a busy life but today I did and I feel so much better for it.
The doggies as always enjoyed our time together. I stopped for a minute and the "fighting" began and therefore created today's blip.
To grandmas and dog lovers around the world; enjoy.
