Relief

Blue skies and puffy white clouds passing by on a strong sea breeze; bright green grass and cows in the field. It's good to be back in Ireland once again. Not perhaps an outstanding photo, nor a view to die for, but after a long and tiring overnight journey it's a welcome sight.

I liked the stand of tall trees in the middle distance caught in the sunshine as it streaks across the fields guided by shuttered clouds as they drift by. And hedgerows delineating all the land around about reflecting boundaries borne of years of history.

It is indeed a relief to be in this place, if only for now and only a while.
