Unusual Visitor

Looked out of the window by chance this morning and saw this young Moorhen in the garden. It was just walking through as much as I can gather. I have no idea where it came from as we do not have any ponds within 2 miles of us. Although we do have the Firth, but that is salt water and I thought Moorhens liked unsalted water as in ponds. Still it was nice to see even though it wasn't hanging around. It has quite big strides when walking and very large feet. So blip for today, Unusual Visitor.
