Dog tired

The excitement of the last few days is starting to turn to weariness... The kids are both starting to wane a little, while hubby and I can barely stretch as far as the tv remote and we all probably need to sleep for a day to return to 'normal' (well as normal as we can be!).

The only one oblivious to this toil appears to be our mad mutt. She is still hyper (typical Springer!) and loving having us all home all day from school and work. She is adoring the constant titbits, belly rubs and squeezes from the hurricane toddler...

So yes, the irony is that we are the ones who are truly 'dog tired'!
