Some handsome hands

Before the girls headed up to Aberdeen this afternoon I suggested a family portrait of hands for my blip. L actually took the photo on my camera, because she didn't want to show her hand with the two bitten nails!

You should be able to see a star in the middle and a few odd-shaped hearts, and it is easy to tell which are my wrinkly old more mature hands compared to the girls' young ones, K with her long, musician's fingers, and L the one-handed one.

Suddenly the place is eerily quiet, it's just me and the cats, so I might get a chance to look at the giant Christmas crossword from Monday's paper!
