Loch Ard Forest

Walked the Sculpture Trail in Loch Ard forest. Lovely walk, even in the smir with the clouds low over the trees and hills. Followed the viewpoint trail but no view West towards Ben Lomond because of low cloud. We could see back as far as Aberfoyle in an Eastern direction. Disappointed with the lack of sculpture. Just two on the walk and one in the car park at the start/end point.

Drove along to Kinlochard and had lunch at a very nice cafe called The Wee Blether. Sadly not dog friendly.

After lunch we went back to the Lodge Forest Visitor Centre and walked the Oak Coppice Trail.
