I would usually fret about how hot the loft gets during spring and summer, but now that it's mostly empty the perceived risk of it bursting into flame is lessened. Whilst getting up to it when the children are asleep is a pain, and impossible to do quietly, its warmth ought to be put to use in a rainy week when things left out on the line only get progressively wetter.
