Glasgow Visit

Up with the lark (well by 7.30 am which is early for us!) and out to catch the Megabus to Glasgow for a day of retail therapy, mainly in John Lewis.  In spite of stops for lunch, coffee etc, we were both very weary by mid-afternoon and actually managed to catch the bus home an hour earlier than we had booked!

This is the view from the café in JL and the Extra shows the very familiar seating provision for visitors on a sunny day:-)  Which it was for all of the time we were there, although it rained heavily on the return to Perth and then was dry again when we arrived.  Some wonderful tall fluffy columns of cloud on the way there had morphed into heavy grey rainclouds on the return.  Very odd weather!

Hope you haven't been badly affected by the heavy downpours in some parts today.
