Another hot day

Reaching 92 deg Faherheit in Carmel today. Visited Monterey, drove around Pebble Beach, visited Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch, lunch at the Twigery restaurant where my old heroine Doris Day used to dine. Blip taken of Mrs B at Mrs Day's place. Always looked upon her as a beautiful lovely lady. She passed away in her Carmel valley home May 13th this year, at the age of 97. Relaxed at the beach in Carmel. Probably will not be possible to see Pebble Beach tomorrow as U.S. Open is about to start. The golf people are arriving. Tiger Woods has been here some days already. Expecting around 300 000 to come to follow the tournament. We are leaving Carmel early tomorow to drive farther south.
