Marbled tops
At last it was dry and a lot colder but it wasn't until I was out with the dogs that I noticed that the snow line had descended a bit further. I love to see the hills with just a smattering of snow as you can see the nooks and crannies so much better and they take on this wonderful marbled effect. Technically I could have hoped for a bit more colour in the sky to contrast with the hills but there you go! This view is looking into Glen Turret where I sometimes walk and you can see the forest below the snow line with its mix of deciduous and conifers.
PS. I have just called Cara inside and noticed that there is a sprinkle of fairy dust falling gently - wonder if it will last?
