St Mary's, Bourne Street

Have seen a few pictures of this church posted on a well known social media site by a friend. This morning I took the tube to Sloane Square to have a look for myself.

Built on top of the District Line (effectively on a bridge over the cut-and-cover line) and opened in 1874.

Orientated south-west // north-east, this is a view of the High Altar at the "east" end of the building.
