Firstly, Doug appreciated all the birthday wishes and say a big thanks.

Today has been a day for visiting Doug's lovely sister and brother-in-law.  He is in a Aged Care facility and is almost bed ridden....he suffers from Parkinson which is very sad, but he enjoys our visits when we are here in Wellington.   On Saturday we all will celebrate his 80th birthday.
