Lovely bedside rug....
Don't you just want to embed one's cold feet deep into this shag pile?
Well, you'd get your feet wet, as it's moving water at a local mill, made all the more turbulent by the extra pressure due to the recent, very heavy rainfall.
Amidst all the last-minute shoppers, I stood poking my 70-200mm f2.8 into the murky depths - there is always something hypnotic and beguiling about moving water, isn't there? As soon as these busy folk realise that it's not a three horned otter that you've found, they very quickly move on. I could pity them, but I rather it's the other way round!
I remained there a number of minutes, all pix handheld, ranging from these longer exposures to 1/1000's fraction of a sec's. Both these extremes were effective - the middling ones however, just din't work.
The only post 'treatment' was some extra sharpening, to give extra 'texture' and a colour boost - the accompanying jpeg had these hints of colour but the RAW didn't, but upping them brought them out.
