incoming storm

sultry weather again, after much discussion, we have decided that we will get a floor unit a/c - the broken window will be replaced with something that can support the tube that will have to come out of the back of the a/c with the gasses.  really don't want to do this, but living on the top floor of an old, uninsulated building means that it is almost unbearable if you get a stretch of this kind of weather.  last summer was truly horrible and this summer looks like it will be the same (yay, climate change..).
