Caterpillar

Braved the grey skies and rain to walk up to the local shops for fresh bread. It was more of an excuse for a walk really. We got back just before it began to pour down again.

I had a good look round the garden in search of a blip. The pond is very full and still has some leaves that need fishing out. The first shoots for the daffodils are up and were great to see. I was rather surprised to find this caterpillar feasting on one of my hollyhock plants.

Enjoyed watching the birds come in for some rehydrated meal worms left on the bird table. We had blackbirds, a robin, magpies and some crows. Interesting to see how quickly they all found the food.

Another lazy day of reading, playing and eating. Must do more tomorrow...husband is back at work for a day.
