CRANTOCK BEACH
As Matthew came home to see us we decided to have a day visit to our old home area.
Mr A had checked the weather first thing and it didnt look a good forecast but I persuaded him to take no notice!
We drove through some heavy rain but having arranged to meet our dearest friends who still live down there, the sun greeted us. We walked together on the beach and all the dogs enjoyed it. I was surprised that Oscar and Phoebe didn't appear to have missed it at all.
Too soon it was time to come back but not until we met some old friends and shared many hugs.
The photo shows Matthew fully swathed in his winter coat as the wind was certainly bracing.
Drove through horrendous storms around Exeter but the car just kept going. We were glad to be home again in Martock and do not feel any pangs of regret.
Matthew has now gone back to his other home and we will take him out for coffee and cake a week Sunday.
The gloomy weather continues and it feels more like Autumn not June. Sending hugs and love to you all. xxxxx
