Cottesloe beach is.........

.........disappearing!

The recent storms have eroded just about all the beach, leaving exposed rocks in front of the Cottesloe's Indiana restaurant and the surf clubs' boat storage area. I have lived and swum here for nearly 70 years and I have never, ever seen erosion this bad. As a gorgeous surfer young chap mentioned as he left the water "this is really scary!" And it is!!

I have added a couple of pics to demonstrate just how serious it is. And we have only just begun winter..............

I see the brief is trees - there are the iconic Cottesloe pine trees in the distance ;-)
