"Aa went t' Blaydon Races, 't was on the 9th o' Joon"

Goody bag contents from my 15th Blaydon Race, on Saturday. I knew I was in reasonable form but was thrilled to record my fastest ever pace, to cover the distance from the Toon, to Blaydon. Doubly delighted that said pace was under 7-minutes per mile: 6:54/mi to be precise.

"Oooh me lads, ye shudda seen is gannin!"
