Rainy night , whizzing past the Tower

Sometimes the unexpected images are the ones that sum up the day best.

I got a late plane to London City in preparation for a day of meetings tomorrow .

It was a bit of dreich day in Ednburgh but very wet when we landed in London , as it had been for the past two days apparently.

It was so late that the taxi taking us in to Waterloo was able to make good and speedy progress - so speedy that the Tower of London went past in wet coloured blur.
