Work Desk

This afternoon we paid a visit to a National Trust Property - Gawthorpe Hall, Padiham, near Burnley - the home of the Kay-Shuttleworth family.   Rachel was the last person to inhabit this lovely Hall.   She was a very experienced needlewoman and lots of her work are on display for all to see.   This is the desk where she worked from - and stored all her utensils etc.   A fascinating lady.
