Poppy

I took some photos of my poppies this morning before 7am to show my parents in law. My house was named poppy so it is very relevant. I have quite a few poppies in red, different shades of pink, and mauve. My mother in law was told yesterday that she is due to have keyhole surgery on 9th July, 4 days before her birthday, for bowel cancer. She was told the operation was necessary, there was no choice. She will be 89 next month.
