falkirk wheel

I visited the falkirk wheel today. What an amazing piece of engineering it is, I thought I'd be impressed when I saw the thing in action and I was. The most impressive thing about this huge spirograph inspired structure is that it only uses the same amount of energy as boiling 8 kettles.
