Wet Fly

Another wet day although there was a hint of sun early on. I met a friend recently over from the States for coffee and, whilst it wasn't raining, it wasn't quite up to sitting outside. More wet walks with Pepper so I took advantage of the flora and fauna for a blip. I did well to get this fly sitting on a gate, as it disappeared a second later.

I've been judging at a local camera club this evening - the 'best of the best' end of year competition for digital and print. It's always hard when the strong images are pitted against each other as they all more or less deserve to be in the finals so the process becomes very subjective. It's not an easy task to do!
