Mystery 1/2 solved.

A two-part mystery.
Part 1 - I spotted a spindly plant arising from one of my Orchids, looked to be Solanacea guessed tomato, but "No eye Deer" how it got there.
Part 1/Stage 2 Took it to bathroom window ledge = MORE light.
It then started to colour/thicken up slightly.

THEN  I noticed this tiny "spud-looking" thing on the surface.
Spud looking thing turned out to be a tiny spud.
Mystery Part 2a - Absolutely NO IDEA how said spudlet got to be there.
Part 2b The wee plant is not, obviously, connected to the spudlet - begging the question(s)
Did plant break free of spudlet, or is there another in there?
In either case - HOW in the name of all things weird and wonderful did it/they get in my Orchid pot?
