Worcester- floods

Never again will I complain about floods in our area of central Scotland.

Having just seen the devastation caused by the Severn river in the Worcester area ( acres and acres of fields under water - see above) one realises just how climate change is affecting middle and southern England.

Yes they had swans swimming through the main streets of Worcester but we were advised not to go in much as I would have liked to photograph it.

Finally back in Scotland tonight after sampling the joys of Virgin rail travel - no food, no hot drinks , and crowded trains.

Ipads much in evidence on the train. Opposite me sat a three year old girl playing with hers. Next to me an older man had been given one as a Christmas present and he said it was a bit of a mystery to him.
