Gweledydd ~ Visionary

Mae Nor'dzin yn berson gweledigaethol. Mae syniadau gyda hi i wella sefyllfeydd neu ddod â llawenhad i fywyd y bobol. Gwelodd hi fod pob crefyddau yn canu, ac roedd hi wedi cael y syniad o greu côr rhyng-ffydd.

Roedd ein ffrindiau yn yr Eglwys Iesu Grist Saint y Dyddiau Diwethaf yn gallu darparu'r ystafell ac felly gwnaethon nhw drefnu'r cyfarfod cyntaf ac anfon gwahoddiadau i bob ffydd.  Roedd mwy na phum deg o bobol yn y cyfarfod heno, o fwy na chwe ffydd wahanol.

Mae'n bwysig i'r côr nid yn canu rhywbeth crefyddol neu rywbeth sy'n dod o'r un ffydd. Felly gallai'r dewis o ganeuon fod yn unrhywbeth ysbrydoledig, unrhywbeth rydyn ni'n ei ganu yn frwdfrydig.

Caneuon ni 'United', 'Hen wlad fy nhadau', a 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough'. Roedd y caneuon yn cael eu canu mewn pedwar rhan - soprano, alto, tenor, bas. Roedd y sŵn yn fendigedig. Rydyn ni'n cwrdd unwaith y mis i ymarfer, a byddwn ni'n perfformio, yn gyhoedd, ym mis Tachwedd.

Rydw i'n meddwl bod y côr yn enghraifft dda iawn o'r syniad gweledigaethol sy'n ennyn brwdfrydedd pobl ac yn dod â nhw at ei gilydd mewn cytgord.

Nor'dzin is a visionary person. She has ideas to improve situations or bring joy to people's lives. She saw that all religions sing, and she had the idea of creating an interfaith choir.

Our friends in the Church of Jesus Christ of the Last Day Saints were able to provide the room and so arranged the first meeting and sent invitations to all faiths. There were more than fifty people at the meeting tonight, from more than six different faiths.

It is important for the choir not to sing something religious or something that comes from the same faith. So the choice of songs could be anything inspiring, anything we sing enthusiastically.

 'United', 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau', and 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough'. The songs were sung in four parts - soprano, alto, tenor, bass. The sound was wonderful. We will meet once a month to practise and we will be performing, in public, in November.

I think the choir is a very good example of a visionary idea that engages people and brings them together in harmony.
