Young Blackbird ( again )

This sweet creature sits right outside my window several times a day, ready for a meal worm feed. I've decided he /she must be off parental territory : my local adult Blackbirds are savage in attempts to drive her away, but so far fail.

I've collected from the library a reserved copy of Julie Kavanagh's epic biography of Nureyev, that the film White Crow was based on. It's a great read for another soggy day.
