Marston sundial
After a visit to the dentist, I went over to see C.and C. at their new house about 40 minutes away. After a pleasant lunch, we walked around the churchyard next door and discovered a very unusual sundial which has been converted from a mediaeval cross. My research tells me that it is 16th century conversion. Beyond the sundial is the celebrated laburnum tree leaning over the wall of the Hall, which is considered to be the largest and oldest in England.
