The Old Forge (Thursday 13th June 2019)

Feeding the garden tree fern has been an act of blind faith since the growing season began, as it seemed totally dead. I was especially despondent after seeing the ones in Lord Lansdowne's Jubilee Gardens at Bowood at the start of the month. All was not lost, however, as at almost the same time the first tiny signs of green began to appear in the crown of the trunk, and as you can see from when I went out to add feed in the rain this afternoon, it has been unfurling as a tree fern should.

The film Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story By Martin Scorsese arrived on Netflix yesterday and this is from the soundtrack. I fully intend to be watching it this evening.
