Jack

Had a very pleasant afternoon at Mum and Dad's, catching up over tea and cake (baked by Dad). There was lots of avian activity at the feeders in the form of: goldfinches, great tits and blue tits with their offspring, greenfinches, wood pigeons and the odd jackdaw, and a red kite overhead. It wasn't a great day for photography, being dark and gloomy, so I've opted for a jackdaw. The little goldfinches were particularly cute but, sadly, the pictures were rather grainy.  Looking forward to the sun putting in an appearance again soon (at the weekend, if the forecast it to be believed)...please.
