Closing

The significant gardening task was replanting of a border I dug up last week.  The border is next to the pond.  Morning rain had made everything damp which is not a bad thing when planting out.
A couple of things I learned.  The first was not to work with your back to the pond - it was interesting where a careless back step took me.  The second is that we have midgies; lots of them and they bite.  I had not experienced them before in such numbers and with such viciousness and I thought we were immune - daft.
The blip is of a peony closing up for the evening.
