Coalface

Well, it was back to the coalface for Cameron today. Here we see my work PC chugging into life this morning, as it actually, totally, honestly looked as I sat a little groggily at my desk this morning.
Luckily I only have to work half days until New Year's Day, as I didn't well last night. Normally I can shake these things off but today I crashed badly after lunch and I suspect that if it had been a normal day, my press pod colleague Sam would have found me comatose over the keyboard come 3pm.
I am not sure I should be admitting this, but being just a teeny bit of a techy beneath this suave exterior, I can actually remember when Windows XP first came out. That was October 2001, no less than 11 years ago. Yes, it's been updated a zillion times since then but still, a decade+ is antidiluvian in computer terms. Truly, it is undead software, the operating system that will not die....*makes sign of the cross*
