Roscoea in the rain.

It has been a day resembling a well known Scottish group of the 80s & 90s ..........  Wet Wet Wet.

I barely stirred over the doorstep during the morning, and the afternoon I spent with Kanyl.  My usual slow perusal of what might make a blip in his garden degenerated into a quick dash and a few snaps.

The result - Roscoea in the rain.  Not being my plants and having forgotten which species/variety it is all I can call it is Roscoea.  They are believe it or not related to Ginger.  However ginger comes from the tropics while the various Roscoea species are from the Himalayas, and nearby parts of China.
