Dancing fountain
Wow! We had another late night, so I am blipping this on Thursday, in fact, it is the very early hours of Friday!
G took herself to work today and I tried to stay out of Nara's way whilst he cleaned the flat. I had a good chat with him after he finished about his new status as an independent cleaner who doesn't report to anyone but himself. He is happy but would also like to fill in the gaps in his week.
This evening, I booked G, Patrick, Alex and me to go to watch/listen to Catrin Finch. I have to admit I had never heard of her before. It turns out she is one of the "best musicians out there at the moment", so said the curator of artists "In the Studio" at Dubai Opera. In case you are wondering, Catrin Finch, is a world-renowned Welsh harpist!
I don't know how many of you have heard a harp being played. It is an extremely versatile instrument that has to be seen to be fully appreciated. We were entertained to ten lovely pieces and one encore. Catrin chatted with the audience and it was clear that she absolutely loves what she does.
We dropped Patrick and Alexandra back via our small tea shop on Beach Road. :)
