Grass in the Rain

Dark and damp for the bike ride in, but not too wet. I have the waterproofs again, but fully expect to wear them home.

Just a quick walk then at lunchtime while the rain went off for a while. Just up to the tram bridge and back. There's not much to see, the hills and Edinburgh Castle are enveloped in a very heavy mist. The grass is weighed down by large droplets of water, like this one flower head over the tarmac path. I make it back to the office just as the rain restarts.


Definitely wet for the ride home, waterproofs donned and a direct route home.

Got my cycling stats through for May. A total distance 1,051km cycled with  9,996m of climbing on 24 active days.
