Sally Mair - Loving life

Bee bumble

Speed this little bee in a dry moment today on some rasps, I'm sure he turned to look at me as I took the shot.
It's been wet most of the day and cold too. Took my Indian guests to meet the Bishop of Edinburgh this morning who was very friendly and hospitable. After that we popped into my church for an after service coffee and a look around, it doesn't take long it's a wee church and hiding under scaffolding at the moment.
I then drove to have lunch with the chaplain to the Missions to Seamen at his house in Linlithgow Bridge. I let my phone do the navigating and we went by a lovely route!
This afternoon we had a quiet time, I made a batch of shortbread and some easy eating cottage pie for dinner. When cutlery is not your usual way of eating it's nice not to have to do complicated things with knives and forks.
Only 7785 steps today, but I've made my week's target so that's ok.
