PRIDE

Spent the morning down in the Paddington Basin area yesterday; l have not been down that way for years and what a transformation, you come out of the station straight on to the tarted up canal walkway with all its cafes and restaurants. It was very buzzy and busy preparing for a PRIDE event so very colourful. Needless to say it poured and l got wet again.
Went out to the theatre last night, used the new trains on our overground line, it took 6 minutes to get to Finsbury Park where the theatre was (20 by tube, 40 by bus). London is so well provided for by public transport.
My extra l took because it just reminded me of all those jokes along the lines of "how many men does it take to change a light bulb". This time it is a deck chair, well l know they can be fiddly but really 5 men?
