Afternoon Moon

The moon was rising above the church tower at 4.30 pm this afternoon, visible because of the unusually clear, blue sky. You can see the little crown up on the tower, installed in celebration of the Queen's Silver Jubilee.
A day for catching up with ourselves after all the Christmas celebrations - bliss!
