Desolate

A heavy gray sky overshadowed our walk amongst the sand dunes, quickly stolen between showers. An Attenborough feeling of "one might not expect much life to exist here...", being just sand and grass, although I managed to catch a gull in my shot. Aside from the shapes of the dunes, there's not much to work with photographically and more challenging is a companion who is not interested in stopping to make pictures.

At least the path with a line of posts provides some interest and the premise for my story in this image - an escape from the modern world to a desolate place - at least for a while.
