A patch of blue

There had to be a day this week when we'd get a soaking. And this was it!

I picked the driest part of the day and left 20 minutes too early! It was here, where I found this little blue beetle that the rain began - and continued for a while, pretty heavily. Determined to have a longer walk, we still headed on up the moors and, by the time we'd reached the hut, the sun felt like it was really trying to break through.  Tiny patches of blue and yes, eventually our shadows.  It feels like that's been a while!
