Astilbe

Had these flowers in the garden when I moved here 15 years ago. At that time they were beside the pond, which has since been filled in. It was really the only flower that hadn't been damaged by the wind and rain, which has been been quite persistent today.

Just finished the packing. Just glad I got some extra weight allowance for my hold luggage. The camera backpack weighs over 10 kilos. Just hope there is a strong young man that will put it carefully in the overhead locker!!! Sue and Jane arriving later this evening as we have an early start in morning for our next adventure :-)
