Rose Drops

A mostly rainy day, not much to report;  some shopping, some tennis--grass courts in Stuttgart as a prelude to Wimbledon.  The big event was the Golden State Warriors' last game in the Oracle Arena in Oakland; they lost to the Toronto Raptors, who thereby won their first NBA title.  What seemed like vast Toronto crowds cheered wildly in an arena and in a large outdoor plaza.  Oracle is a software company which I have known for years: In the 1990s I worked as a stock analyst for Deutsche Bank and followed the German company SAP--a major competitor of Oracle.  What goes around comes around :)

Posted next day--the game ended ca. midnight for us in the East.
