Yellow rattle

For the first time in as long as I can remember I stayed in bed reading until after 10a.m. Very indulgent!
And I had promised myself to go for a walk today - which I also did!
On the walk I went through a beautiful meadow brimming with wild flowers - haven't seen so many yellow rattle in one place for a very long time.
Saw some young bullfinches which was another treat. And I didn't get rained on.
Lovely day so far.
